This is also thought as a form-focused writing, grammar or guided writing

Dictation and dicto comp

This is simple a way of writing in which students hear the passage and write on their books.

A paragraph is read in a normal speed then the teacher asks to rewrite the passage from the best of their collection


Picture Cued task

Picture cued description, students are suppose to describe the picture based on the following prepositions: on, over , under,  next, around.


Vocabulary Assessment Tasks

 The main techniques for assessing vocabulary are:

Defining.

Using a word in a sentence.

Vocabulary Writing Tasks:

This procedures are creatively linked by means of the targeted word, the collocations and the morphological variances.

Ordering Tasks:

This appeals to people who are fond of word games and puzzles: ordering scrambled sets of words to form a correct sentence.

Note: its simplicity may seem unauthentic but it is very effective.

Short-answer and Sentence Completion Tasks:

These type of tasks are simple and predictable to somewhat more elaborate responses. 

Note: The most important part here is the reading-writing connection.

Issues in Assessing Responsive and Extensive Writing:

The genres of text that are typically addressed here are: 


This is where writers dabble with composing and real-writing as opposed to just display writing.

 1.      Authenticity: It’s a trait that is given some attention. They must try to give the best out of themselves while completing a set task.

2.      Scoring: It is the most difficult issue at the two final stages of writing. Each evaluation must be finely attuned to understand how the writer puts words together.

3.      Time: The language producer is not necessarily limited to a set time, they can make multiple drafts before giving in their assignment.
